AAKAR ENTERPRISES Re-dispersible Polymer Powder (RDP) is a water-soluble polymer made from ethylene-vinyl acetate polymer through spray drying. It uses polyvinyl alcohol as a protective colloid and is free of solvent and plasticizers.
AAKAR ENTERPRISES – Re-dispersible Polymer Powder can significantly improve the bending and flexural strength of the mortar as the formed polymer film has excellent flexibility. The film is formed on the surface and gaps of the cement mortar particles, thereby creating a flexible connection and making the hard cement mortar more elastic. Therefore, the bonding strength and cohesion of the mortar can be improved. As an organic adhesive, our re-dispersible polymer powder can form a film with high tensile strength and bonding strength on different substrates, thereby improving the impact resistance, durability, and abrasion resistance of the mortar. With the mortar gap filled with powder particles, the density of the mortar is increased, and thus the wear resistance is improved. The application of our AAKAR ENTERPRISES – RDP products can also enhance the weather resistance, freeze-thaw resistance, and crack resistance of the final product. As a thermoplastic resin, our product has excellent flexibility, which allows the mortar to adapt to the cold and heat changes of the external environment and effectively prevent the mortar from cracking due to the temperature changes.
